I’ve been missing for a bit and this is why. I assumed I was feeling bad because I was still recovering from having Covid in June/July. I thought I just needed to power through. I could barely walk around my house without collapsing, let alone make content or go to work. When I finally and stubbornly went to the doctor it turned out I was having a serious cardiac issue. Long story short, I had heart surgery 2 days ago and although I never could have imagined ever needing surgery, I am now feeling A LOT better. ❤️

My New Year’s resolution was to work on my health and fitnes..

My New Year’s resolution was to work on my health and fitness and I’ve been slacking big time! I’m going to start posting my progress as a way to keep myself accountable. So this is my first check in.

This week I went from 223lbs to 218 which is 5lbs down. I’ve been focused on eating more protein, less carbs but also increasing my fruits and veggies. I worked out 2x this week but really want to do 3x a week at minimum so hopefully I’ll be a bit better about the gym this coming week. I’ll do another check in next Wednesday ☺️ Thank you for being here and helping keep me accountable for my progress! ❤️ I don’t have an exact end goal yet, I’ll know it when I feel it. I just want to have more energy and better habits. ✌🏽
