In case you're new here: last year I went to prison for my involvement in some protests that took place in my city in 2021. Tomorrow marks two whole years since the very protest I was incarcerated for. It feels fucking nuts and might explain the recent anxiety I've had. There is a peaceful demonstration happening to honour those who were sent to prison, plus those who are still awaiting trial and sentencing. The demo will also represent our solidarity with those exploited by police and state violence. I have so many things to say about UK politics and our justice system but for now I say: community is everything. No justice, no peace. ✊️
