Dark thoughts kept running thru my head like, "what if someone felt off the boat", "what if someone tried to swim from the boat to shore", etc... It was difficult to calculate just what would actually happen. The sharks seemed so calm, but THEY ARE SHARKS! I didn't want to be that annoying person asking all the hypothetical questions, but who would better know than the 2 captains that have 17 yrs experience. This was their answer: "if someone fell in the water they wouldn't get eaten, they just need to calmly swim back to the boat". This was the explanation: if white sharks wanted to eat ppl there would be no surfers, no swimmers, no divers left and there would be no shred of their existence left behind. White Sharks have been around for 100s of millions of years, a species doesn't survive that long by being stupid. They are very cautious/calculating animals. They are also divas! Captain said they have thrown steaks into the water and they won't eat them.

Shark Boat (continued from last post): Isla Guadeloupe (Mexico) has only permitted 9 boats to come there to see the sharks. When we were there I only saw 3 other boats, but they were spread out quite a distance from us. I felt really good seeing that, because this area is beyond pristine, and needs to stays that way. The only way to describe it would be "prehistoric" it's very Jurassic Park. Spear fishermen discovered White Sharks there in the mid 90's. Our captain said that divers have spearfished alongside White Sharks for years without incident, and still to this day permitted divers come there for Yellow-fin Tuna. When you actually see dozens of massive White Sharks in the water, you cannot fathom being in that water too! However, I learned that White Sharks are an ambush predator ONLY - they hunt at the surface, so if you're below them or around the same level as they are they feel their cover has been blown, because you've seen them.

Shark Boat (continued from previous post): of course, big sharks, especially the MOTHER OF ALL SHARKS...The Great White is intimidating, but never at any point did I feel like they wanted to attack me, eat me or any of the above. They were well-aware that we were inside the cages, but they didn't dart at us or bite the cages or try to stick their heads in the cages. They just peacefully swam around the boat and sometimes they would breech in an attempt to get the tuna head that was attached to the baitline. In Isla Guadeloupe the sharks are HIGHLY protected. It is the last stronghold for White Sharks. No other location on the planet has them in such healthy numbers, and BIG ones (15-20 feet in length). There are a lot of rules & regulations protecting the marine life there, it's wonderful. For example you cannot even fish. You are not allowed to feed the sharks. You cannot chum. You cannot do anything that would possibly hurt them.

Hey guys!!! I'm back! My Great White Shark Cage Dive trip was AMAZING! Words cannot do it justice, so I am not even going to try, but it was EPIC. I'm still a little dizzy from being on a boat for a week. The sharks were WOW. I went on this trip thinking it would be a scary, nerve-racking experience, but it was quite the opposite. When I laid eyes on my first White shark of the trip I was starstruck. They are magnificent! Big & powerful, but also graceful & majestic. I didn't feel threatened at all. They don't swim around with all their teeth showing like they're portrayed in movies. Most looked pleasant or curious, and a couple almost had what you could perceive as a "smile". They move in the water so effortlessly, but overall I would say they appear slower like any other large creature. They were fascinating to watch underwater while in the cage, but equaling as interesting from on deck (to be continued)...

JAWS... Hey guys!! Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be going away on a trip Friday Oct 25 - Nov 2nd. Some of you might remember I've been planning this epic adventure for a whole year now! It's The Great White Shark Cage Dive expedition! I'll be flying to San Diego where the next day I'll board a boat that sails out to Guadeloupe Island for 5 days of cage diving w/ Great Whites! Eeekk!! I am so excited/nervous. As you know I'm a scuba/free diver, but even for me this is something so EPIC. I think it's going to be an amazing experience. The bad news is there is no wifi on the boat, so for 5 days I'll be out of touch. However, I will take lots of pics/video while away, so I'll have lots to post when I return. Don't go anywhere, don't think I'm ignoring u. Until then I will post as much as I can & send send a private vid tonight :) Let me know if you need anything b4 I leave :) XOXOXO

CONTINUED FROM POST BELOW: So, if I could have an educated word with these female haters I would simply say I work hard on my body! I live my life on a fairly strict diet. I never skip the gym!! When they are laying on the couch eating Oreos, I'm at the gym! I keep my hair, nails, tanning done. There's a lot of work and dedication that goes into looking the way I do. IT'S MY JOB! You can't buy a fit body, sorry, it takes work. They may never look like me, BUT it doesn't mean they can't work toward achieving their personal best. It's much better to try than to hate on others.

Ooooo, I guess I got some serious hate today from 2 ladies on Instagram that left ugly comments of my latest video, lololololol!! Pretty much both of them said I was "plastic" and that I needed to "find some class" and "get some clothes that fit me". Hahahahahahahahaha! Of course, this is not my first rodeo getting hate from women, and it doesn't bother me in the least, except that I think it's truly fascinating that a lot of women are so insecure and literally think by labeling another woman as "plastic" that it somehow makes them pretty. It makes their world feel safe again. Like I am the enemy, lol. It's mind boggling yo! Like I am not going to their pages leaving comments about how I think they are boring, unattractive, undesirable, out of shape, old looking, etc... I would never dream of doing that. I'm going warn you ahead of time this is like groundhog's day! Lol. But a member (Marque) asked me to post it. So when i make a little video i typically do it 5-6 times so i have options. Slight differences end up making a video better or worse, but these almost look identical. Lol!
