Hey babes! Your girl needs some help from those law/labour laws professionals! So i started working somewhere for the sole purpose of getting maternity leave (previously was a commission worker which did not pay into that). With maternity leave you need to accumulate 600hours before baby arrives to get compensation for maternity leave. My job, however, is unable to pay there employees due to lack of funds, and I my pay is now 12 days late with next pay period coming Nov.1st with nothing to show for it. What does this mean for maternity leave? and what would you suggest?
