I often have men approach me asking to be their "sugar baby." It doesn't necessarily make me uncomfortable but I find the dynamic difficult to navigate especially when initiating the first payment. I don't like my time being wasted so I usually ask for a tribute up front but this derails the conversation and a relationship rarely blossoms. Surely if you're approaching someone you want as your own baby you'd be confident? I understand the skepticism and nobody wants their money wasted but I often find that respect doesn't go both ways. Anyone got thoughts? I suppose this could also be applied to GFE so if you've got experience or have opinions lemme know!

I did some important work today. Work that will unveil the exploits of women's prisons in the UK. Work that will do more good than anything I could have dreamt of while abiding by my gag order. So I thank probation - it gave me time to think and more importantly, to plan. I guess good things do come to those who wait.

A little fun fact about me: I'm vegan! I've been involved with animal rights activism for about 7 years. I've always been an animal person - I grew up with lots of different pets: rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, fish, dogs and cats. I even worked with horses when I was little too. My Mama was vegetarian growing up but she went vegan not long after I did, and so did my brother. Turns out I'm quite good at persuasion! Mwahaha. I've not done much work with animal rights organisations in the last 12 months as I was too busy doing human rights stuff! But this year I want to return to it and balance it with the work I do with prisoners, defendants and minority groups. Are any of you vegetarian or vegan? Perhaps you're cutting down on meat and dairy? Maybe you've never thought about it - (Veganuary is a nice way to start!) I love to talk about it. Even if you're not veggie or vegan I bet there is some common ground. For example, my sister and Papa are still meat eaters but they're against animal testing and hunting. I think we're all animal lovers deep down. ❤️ Also, and I swear this is true, because I am Vegan my pussy tastes SO MUCH BETTER.

*Ch-ch-ch-changes!* 🎶 I'm going to have quite a busy week this week. I'm moving house and need to be out of my apartment by the 12th. I'd almost forgotten how stressful it was to move! Eeeeesh. Anyway, my plan is the go room by room. I'll pack one up individually and shift stuff gradually over the next 10 days so I feel less overwhelmed. I'm chucking a few sofas and intending on starting afresh with a bit more funky furniture in the new gaff. I'm excited really but I also can't help thinking about all the other shit I've got to be doing as well. Bit by bit, day by day. This will be by mantra!
